It helps our people remember our past & where we came from. Preserving our heritage for future generations plays an integral role in understanding our identity & roots. This program aims to promote cross-cultural understanding, respect, & partnerships.

By working together to raise awareness & support preservation efforts, we can help ensure that our heritage is also preserved for future generations to discover & celebrate. Balanghai USA Foundation, through our BalangHai Festival, showcases Butuan’s unique history through festivities that present our Filipino roots: monuments, artifacts, sites, traditions, customs, music, dance, & language.

The goal of Cultural Preservation is to ensure that vital parts of our history are preserved for future generations. This can be done through a variety of methods, such as partnering with municipalities, the development of educational programs, awareness campaigns, & the use of conservation techniques.
